Our new Intro Crossing course is designed for our training partners who have a need for grade crossing warning training, but may not require wayside signal training.
The first phase of this two-week program imparts basic, fundamental skills and knowledge necessary for all safety-related employees. The second phase concentrates on the proper maintenance and testing of Grade Crossing Warning Systems. Students can either attend the phases concurrently, or separate the phases during the training year.
STS is pleased to announce that our Signal Training Program has been recognized and officially approved by the Federal Railroad Administration per Title 49 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 243.
STS is honored to be approved by the FRA and acknowledged by the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen (BRS). The approval and endorsement, along with our commitment to a higher standard of instruction, demonstrates our legitimacy and sincerity to train signal and communication personnel in an approved and consistent manner.
