Six-Week Apprentice Training Program

This accelerated and comprehensive program is recognized by a leading labor organization.

Our apprentice program is delivered in three separate two-week sessions. Session One is entry-level training that has a focus on the basics of railway signaling. Session Two is our mid-level course that builds on previously learned skills and knowledge, and introduces new topics. Session Three is our advance-level course, and completes the program with an emphasis on microprocessor-based systems.

Proven Approach

Our training programs are characterized by activity, variety, and direction. Theories and concepts taught in the classroom are diligently reinforced through carefully planned Lab Activities.

Lecturing Held to a Minimum

At STS, we encourage class participation in our programs; this moves training away from being passive to active and dynamic.
